I am now celebrating my 25 year as a Private Caterer, this has been very rewarding period of my life. I gain great satisfaction making every event special. I mainly bespoke every menu for every client's individual need and taste, quite often producing recipes personally for them. I also work on 95% of all catering events and I am supported by my husband Jon who is also my business partner, my daughter Lucinda and my very capable team of staff.
Over the past years I have always kept food ideas and styles up to date, my basic technique of home style cooking and using the best possible ingredients has always been the key to our success.
It seems a long time ago I started in my own kitchen in 1986, shortly after the birth of my eldest daughter Stefanie who has now her own beautiful son, making produce for local markets. Pies and Quiches being my speciality and are now part of our signature dishes, I have developed over the years. Seventeen months later followed the birth of my second daughter Lucinda, who is very involved with the business. In 1992, I moved to a small Tea Room and then settled into Garson's Restaurant, Esher in October 1993, and six weeks after the birth of my third daughter Olivia, who is a marvellous cook! In 1999, I started running the Terrace Restaurant, situated in Garson's Garden Centre, Titchfield, Hampshire. I have great pleasure running both restaurants with the support of my husband and my great team of staff.
Throughout the years the outside catering has always thrived and many clients are still using our services since 1986. It is the core of my business and my great passion. I have many testimonials from past clients who have appreciated and experienced our special touch. Whatever the size all events are treated the same. The menus are only an idea to give a price structure, when you are browsing through them. I eagerly write my own recipes and you will find many of my recipes on the website, I sometimes write for local magazines, also doing broadcasts on local radio and apparently pop up on cbtv a children's programme, as puzzled cook producing bizarre things from the kitchen! Something I did a couple of years ago.
