Dear Elizabeth, I don’t know where to start………..!!! John (chef) arrived and made me feel very relaxed as he was in complete control of the kitchen and just wanted a few tips on where things were. Then Lucinda arrived and was absolutely charming – you have a very beautiful daughter. She was prepping and doing her thing. It was great because we just kept out of their way which gave us time to go and get ready for the evening. Elizabeth, the food was exceptional from canapés, starters, main course and puddings THEN cheese (which we are still eating now!!) This is a very slick, professional operation and the food was sensational, you should be extremely proud of the business you have created. I can’t praise you or thank you and your team enough, I would recommend you to anyone. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a meal more, not only the food but the professional service of John and Lucinda. John a very confident chef, preparing and cooking to a very high standard with minimal fuss. Lucinda was great, made herself feel right at home and found serving dishes, jugs and bowls that I had forgotten I had!! Our guests have not stopped talking about the fabulous food and also the atmosphere created by the team. Thank you once again and please thank John and Lucinda for us once again. We had a fabulous afternoon tea for mother's day thanks to Home Cooking by Elizabeth. She was always very quick to respond to my multitude of questions, even a last minute panicked request for pretty cutlery. I was able to put together the menu with her to suit everyone's needs. The food was beautifully presented on lots of pretty plates ready to pop straight into the stands provided. The sausage rolls were divine (delivered still warm, they were so hard to resist!), everyone commented on how tasty the roast beef was and the lemon cake was to die for! My only criticism was there was so much food (although I have enjoyed having scones for breakfast this morning and finger sandwiches for lunch and both mothers also had a goody bag to take home so no real hatdship)!! All the crockery was collected seamlessly today. Thank you Elizabeth, my mother and mother in law were both blown away and I got to sit back and relax too. I am already looking forward to planning another event with you!

Elizabeth and her team catered for my baby shower in Feb 2023. I chose an afternoon tea, which was delicious and fabulously presented - and also came with extras such as fruit and cheese kebabs, sweet and savoury tartlets, smoked salmon blinis. (I actually declined the blinis, part of the set menu, because I didn't think our guests would be able to eat that much! And I was right...the servings are generous and almost everyone was able to take home a doggy bag.) Elizabeth proved to be really flexible about this sort of thing, even adjusting the price accordingly. And, most importantly for me, she was able to adapt flawlessly for different dietary requirements. There were vegetarians, vegans, pescetarians, diabetics, coeliacs and neurodiverse individuals who struggle with certain food textures. None of this came with a cost penalty and there was no compromise on quality or taste. Elizabeth provided cake stands and all crockery (lovely vintage style), which we didn't even have to wash before handing back. All in all, I have no hesitation in giving Elizabeth five stars and I am so grateful to her and the team for helping to make my baby shower the wonderful event it was. Will definitely use again in future!

Elizabeth was amazing from start to finish and handled all the catering for our son's wedding for over 150 guests. The food was excellent and also the staff who worked very hard and some stayed on to help serve the drinks and clear the tables. We first got in touch with Elizabeth in Summer 2019 and finally, we had a delayed celebration of our marriage in July 2022. This is a long review, but the summary is that Elizabeth is an experienced, kind and talented caterer. There are so many wonderful things to say. Elizabeth was so kind in committing to be our caterer even with our continually changing dates. Our dream was to have plenty of delicious food so that there was something for everyone at our wedding celebration and Elizabeth helped us to create a wonderful menu. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the food was, the deserts in particular. We went for a hot buffet, with nice details such as starters on the tables, and second rounds of all three courses for all our guests! Elizabeth provided a huge range of options to help us work within our budget. She also arranged for left over food to be boxed up so we could enjoy it the next day, which was great as I hate waste! The team of staff were outstanding. Elizabeth arranged for some to stay on after the main meal to keep the venue clean and tidy, serve the cake and man the bar, as well as presenting the food that we provided ourselves for the evening. They did every part of this to a high standard, were kind and professional. I felt we were constantly in safe hands, and it was clear that the staff enjoy working for Elizabeth, which is important to me. One of the things I wanted was personal touches, and Elizabeth was so flexible that these things were easy to incorporate. Elizabeth is well connected and knew our venue and evening food provider very well, which made the process even smoother. Table linen, glasses, etc etc etc were all organised and excellent. Thank you, so much, Elizabeth!

We had an amazing platter sharing and hot buffet meal for our wedding and everyone loved it and told me how lovely the food was, The staff where also amazing and went above and beyond help and ever so friendly, I highly recommend them for all your dinner party needs.
